We are please to announce the 2012 edition of our club’s annual gathering, planned for July 20-22, 2012.

After previous successful events at Winchester and Perth, this year we will be located at the Upper Canada Campgrounds, conveniently located just off Highway 401, between Montréal and Toronto, and just an hour from Ottawa.   There are accommodations and many interesting tourism opportunities within a short distance of the site.  Click the image below to enlarge the map.

Upper Canada Campgrounds (click here to visit the UCC website) has reserved campsites, a show field, and covered shelter for us, and also will cater our traditional Saturday evening dinner.

  • $20 per person (pre-register by July 15, 2012 to ottawacitroenclub@hotmail.com or 613-774 4359)
  • $25 per person (at the door)
  • Registration includes Saturday supper, Sunday breakfast and club membership


Friday July 20

  • site is available after 5 p.m. for early arrivals

Saturday July 21

  • 9 a.m. Registration opens at 9 a.m.
  • Flea market and socializing in the morning
  • 12 noon Bring your own lunch, or use the permanent on-site chip wagon
  • 2 p.m. Departure for drive on the picturesque Long Sault Parkway
  • 4 p.m. Citroën Olympic Games near the main show field
  • 6:30 p.m. Evening dinner, on site
  • Menu: salads, pork tenderloin with creamy mushroom sauce, roast potatoes, dessert
    Bring your own wine or beer. Soft drinks will be available at $1 each

Sunday July 21

  • 8-9:30 a.m. Traditional breakfast à la française
  • 10 a.m. Suggested departure for a visit to the Prehistoric World nearby (amazing full size dinosaurs)
  • Return home


  • A group campsite (unserviced) is being reserved adjacent to the show field; cost is $28/night, minimum stay waived for Citroën Club
  • individuals also can reserve their own campsites, serviced or unserviced, directly through UCC
  • Toilets and showers are plentiful and handy
  • UCC has a very limited number of cabins; they are going quickly; cost is $80/night, two night minimum

  • There are motels and Guest Houses in the area; some links are provided by the tourism office here
